Hand-Held Dynanometry & Strength Testing
VALD Dynamo Handheld Dynanometry
This device allows our practitioners to provide real time strength and movement visualizations to engage our patients in the assessment process. It makes it easy for our patients to understand how they are performing and how they are progressing over time. Handheld Dynanometry is an advanced method for assessing muscle strength for our patients-offers a portable, objective and more precise alternative to manual muscle testing (MMT) techniques. We can perform 3 types of tests: compression strength testing, tension strength testing, and grip strength testing
VALD Force Plates-Force plates are precision instruments that measure the ground reaction forces generated by the human body during standing, jumping, landing, or movement. By capturing data across multiple axes (vertical, horizontal, and lateral), force plates provide objective insight into balance, power, stability, and movement asymmetries.
Used widely in sports performance, physical therapy, and biomechanics research, force plates allow practitioners to:
- Assess strength and power output (e.g., jump height, rate of force development)
- Identify left-right imbalances that may indicate injury risk
- Track rehabilitation progress with measurable, repeatable data
- Evaluate balance and postural control
Support return-to-play or return-to-activity decisions with objective benchmarks
Unlike subjective visual assessment, force plates deliver quantifiable, real-time data — helping athletes, clinicians, and coaches make informed, evidence-based decisions.
